Environmental Services is responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of common areas, outpatient areas, procedural areas, and patient rooms, including bathrooms, furniture, carpet/hard surface floors, vents, electronics and patient equipment. Must demonstrate proficiency in personal, patient and team member safety regarding blood borne pathogens, needle stick prevention, fire safety, bed tracking and discharge communication, hospital codes, lock out-tag out procedures, hand washing, patient satisfaction, OSHA regulations, maintaining records and reports necessary for regulatory compliance.
