Description Schedule: Per diem (as needed), evening shift, weekend and holiday availability Provides the highest level of disinfection & cleaning (terminal cleaning) for operating rooms, OB operating room, Angio procedure room & APC procedure rooms. + Also, the OR Technician maintains a pleasant and safe environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff. + Complies with all regulatory requirements of JACHO, State Health Department and other regulatory agencies. Required Job Specific Competencies: + Demonstrates skill in cleaning/disinfecting a variety of rooms used for patient care and treatment. + Strictly & consistently follows procedures for highest levels of disinfection that is required in operating rooms, scrub & sterile areas & surrounding non-sterile spaces. + Is knowledgeable of procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, infection control, and safety. + Is able to work with minimal supervision. + Is able to organize cleaning duties and prioritize work to complete assignments in an efficient manner. + Maintains collaborative working relationships with nursing and other departments. + Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system. Qualifications: + Ability to follow written and verbal instruction. + High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. + Prefer 2 to 5 years of relative work experience.
