Perform general custodial duties including: Sweep, mop, vacuum, wax, and polish vinyl composite tile (VCT) floors with floor machines; dust and clean furniture, walls, rails, windows, sills, and blinds; empty waste baskets, remove non-hazardous waste and trash up to 25 pounds from building; clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms; move furniture as needed to accomplish assigned duties. Provides event set-up and tear-down support for students, staff, faculty, and campus events both inside and outside buildings; works closely with the facility use coordinator to ensure that all events are set up correctly and that deadlines are met; assists with cleaning and regular maintenance of sinks, counters, and appliances in the prep kitchen.
