In order to qualify for the GS-13 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Resolving official travel complications such as last-minute itinerary changes, multi-leg emergency arrangements, requiring immediate interpretation of federal travel regulations where established guidance does not directly apply; AND, 2. Processing travel authorizations and vouchers using government-wide travel systems, ensuring use of contracted fares, per diem rates, and approved lodging; AND; 3. Preparing and reviewing travel authorizations, amendments, and expense vouchers for the most complex travel arrangements.
