<h2>Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Weekend Shift) – Part Time</h2><p><strong>Location:</strong>New York, NY<br/><strong>Schedule:</strong> Saturdays & Sundays | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM<br/><strong>Weekly Hours:</strong> 15 Hours<br/><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Contract / Part-Time</p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented <strong>Ultrasound Technologist</strong> to join a busy diagnostic imaging team in <strong>New York, NY.</strong> This part-time weekend opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking a consistent schedule while delivering exceptional patient care and imaging support.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with department protocols</li><li>Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety</li><li>Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively and safely</li><li>Capture and upload high-quality diagnostic images to PACS systems</li><li>Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate imaging support</li><li>Assist with department workflow, scheduling, and supply management</li><li>Support orientation and training of new imaging staff as needed</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2+ years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required</li><li>ARDMS certification required</li><li>Valid RDMS and BLS certifications required</li><li>Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging equipment and PACS systems</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills</li></ul><h3>Education Requirements</h3><p>Candidates must meet one of the following:</p><ul><li>Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology<br/><strong>OR</strong></li><li>High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program</li></ul><p/><p>For more details contact at <p>hdavda@navitashealth.com</p> or Call / Text at<strong> 516-862-1169.</strong></p><p>About <strong>Navitas Healthcare, LLC</strong> certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
