ABOUT THE MOAKLEY OPERATING ROOM (OUTPATIENT SURGERY) DEPARTMENT AT BOSTON MEDICAL CENTER: The Ambulatory Surgery Center consists of 8 operating and procedural rooms and completes outpatient surgery in several surgical specialties including plastics, general, gynecology, orthopedic, sports medicine, ear nose and throat and urology. Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas, e.g., enters total therapy, epidemiology, peri-operative areas.
