Directs, develops, and implements strategies for consistent, predictable, high-quality, and efficient performance of GIS platforms and other geospatial solutions, including architecture design, security practices, upgrade and patch management, business continuity, and disaster recovery. The role sets the geospatial platform roadmap, manages all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), identifies solutions that support business processes, and oversees projects that enhance and support those solutions.
