Accurately transcribes and implements provider orders, performs required chart checks, and completes nursing interventions including specimen collection, laboratory testing, point-of-care testing, wound care, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other clinical procedures within scope of practice and as ordered by the provider. Responsibilities include completing nursing assessments, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient response to treatment, coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges, providing patient and family education, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
