Backed by deep engineering expertise and large-scale manufacturing capability, Stellar Energy helps customers deploy critical infrastructure faster and with confidence. <h5>Essential Functions </h5><ul><li>Assist in the installation of electrical switchgear, panels, controllers, wireways, trays etc. </li><li>Develop the skills to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics. </li><li>Assist in the installation of electrical conduit and wiring on modular chiller systems per plans. </li><li>Assist in the termination of high and low voltage wiring. </li><li>Construct support and infrastructure for electrical equipment. </li><li>Oversee and organize electrical tool room. </li><li>Troubleshoot electrical tools, welders, and grinders. </li><li>Assist Journeyman or Superintendent with misc. job duties. </li><li>Responsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, video review, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review. </li><li>Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits. </li></ul>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <h5>Competencies </h5>Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Technical capacity with attention to detail Good communication skills, both oral and written Problem solving Organizational skills Time management <h5>Work Environment </h5>This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. <h5>Physical Demands </h5>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00am. to 3:30pm. Second shift days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm to 1:00am. POSITION/TITLE: Production Equipment Operator (PEO I) WORK LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL POSITION REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor WORK TYPE: On site JOB SUMMARY: A Production Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation of straw machine line(s), quality checks, packing and troubleshooting of manufacturing machine(s) that produce plastic straw products. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: <ol><li>Perform timely checks to ensure that only quality product is manufactured.</li><li>Maintains established cycle settings on assigned machines to ensure production quantity</li><li>Stops production in the event inferior product is being produced.</li><li>Perform all assigned quality tests to measure the quality of the product being made (i.e. straw length, diameter testing, color testing and straightness of product). This requires frequent fingering and handling of the product to inspect for defects.</li><li>Check order to ensure correct product, boxes, and cartons are being used for scheduled job.</li><li>Comply with all safety rules, polices, procedures and practices to include performing lock-out/tag-out of production equipment when required.</li><li>Diagnose and determine cause for machine malfunctions along with making operator troubleshoot to assigned machines.</li><li>Immediately respond to any defective goods.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.</li><li>Fill out labor sheets at end of shift noting production and downtime using the company computer.</li><li>Ability to work independently and function as a team member.</li><li>Ability to follow directives from the leadership team, managers and supervisors, in ensuring productivity and target levels are sustained.</li><li>Ensures all company policies and procedures including manufacturing and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.</li><li>Collaboration with plant and safety leadership.</li><li>Ability to complete mandated manufacturing and safety training on equipment to maximize output efficiencies in a safe manner.</li><li>Supports all current and new product introductions. </li></ol>Performs other duties as assigned by WinCup leadership as needed.
