The role operates distribution computers systems as required to efficiently control merchandise flow, uses industrial motorized and non-motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, and load heavy/large merchandise as needed to assist Receiving team as well as perform all other duties as assigned by Coach. This role assists inventory to ensure that all stores are appropriately stocked for customers and observes incoming/outgoing merchandise for defects and damage.

What You Will Do The Receiving Clerk supports the operation by logging of all in-coming purchase orders and audits completed receiving paperwork to ensure accuracy. This role assists inventory to ensure that all stores are appropriately stocked for customers and observes incoming/outgoing merchandise for defects and damage. The Receiving Clerk will call vendors for packing lists and freight bills as necessary and maintain a comprehensive filing system for completed receiving packets. Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel. What We're Looking For <ul><li>Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility.</li><li>Requires availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending upon assigned shift and overtime based on the needs of the facility.</li><li>Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.</li><li>Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.</li></ul> What You Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>Demonstrated track record of good attendance</li><li>Basic math and reading comprehension skills</li><li>Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>If internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation or related field</li><li>Experience in a customer service role</li><li>Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems</li><li>Experience in distribution center operations</li><li>Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or data management system (Lowe's DMS preferred)</li><li>Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time</li><li>Previous power equipment experiences ( e.g. Reach truck or RC)</li></ul> Bilingual, Military, and Veteran applicants are encouraged to apply.
