The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and repairs mechanical & electrical issues including PLC problems on manufacturing and facilities equipment; performs and develops preventative (PM) & Predictive (PdM) maintenance procedures; implements Continuous Improvement Actions throughout the facility; leads other Technicians and contractors in machine setup, troubleshooting and repairs; and trains operators on basic maintenance skills to develop a true Autonomous Maintenance system. Perform installation, corrective maintenance or preventive/predictive maintenance on production equipment such as melting furnace, dryers (gas and oil fired), continuous belt furnaces, blenders, packers, blowers, screens, bucket elevators, electric motors, dust collectors, high velocity air and water equipment.
