The PRODUCTION MANAGER is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficient production, high product quality, and achievement of organizational goals. 1) SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE<ul><li>The PRODUCTION MANAGER is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficient production, high product quality, and achievement of organizational goals. This role ensures operational standards, procedures, and performance metrics are maintained to maximize productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The position directly supervises operational leadership and works cross-functionally to ensure timely production, quality assurance, safety compliance, and operational excellence. The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, safety standards, and quality requirements across all operational processes.</li></ul>2) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain operational programs and processes that drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. • Oversee daily operational performance including production output, quality standards, on-time delivery, and cost control. • Develop and manage departmental budgets while identifying opportunities to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve profitability. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. • Partner with safety teams to support and promote workplace safety programs and a strong safety culture. • Train, coach, and develop supervisors and managers to strengthen leadership capability and ensure operational continuity. • Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement. • Monitor staffing levels and operational resource needs to maintain productivity and efficiency. • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance quality, safety, efficiency, and profitability. • Analyze operational metrics and performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. • Communicate operational performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership. • Collaborate with departments such as Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Human Resources to align operational priorities. • Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards. • Drive accountability for operational performance and ensure teams meet established goals and targets. • Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>3) COMPETENCIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating equipment, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining quality standards in our electrode and cell assembly production processes.
