set expectations and build accountability</li><li>Coach, train, and develop staff with clear feedback and performance follow-up</li><li>Conduct shift huddles, assign station responsibilities, and maintain strong communication across the team</li></ul><p>Data Excellence (Order Entry / Verification)</p><ul><li>Ensure accurate order entry, clinical verification, patient/facility profile maintenance, and documentation</li><li>Confirm correct directions, quantities, cycle schedules, packaging instructions, allergies/interactions, and clarifications</li><li>Resolve missing information quickly through effective facility/provider communication</li></ul><p>Production Excellence (Fulfillment / Dispensing)</p><ul><li>Oversee dispensing, packaging workflows, cart fills, unit-dose/blister processes (as applicable), and final checks</li><li>Maintain safe and compliant handling of <strong>controlled substances</strong> (security, counts, reconciliation, documentation)</li><li>Support inventory integrity: organization, expiration management, returns, recalls, and waste reduction</li></ul><p>Quality, Safety & Compliance</p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (PA Board of Pharmacy, DEA, HIPAA, and company SOPs)</li><li>Maintain strong check systems to reduce errors and rework</li><li>Investigate errors/near misses, implement corrective actions, and improve SOPs/training to prevent recurrence</li><li>Stay inspection-ready and support audits with accurate documentation and controlled substance oversight</li></ul><p>Continuous Improvement + Metrics</p><ul><li>Track and improve department performance using operational metrics such as:</li><li>turnaround time / queue aging</li><li>accuracy / error rate / near misses</li><li>rework rate</li><li>on-time completion of cycle fills and STATs</li><li>Build/update SOPs, training checklists, and workflow standards</li><li>Recommend process improvements and help implement new tools/automation when needed</li></ul><p>Customer/Facility Support</p><ul><li>Provide professional support to facilities, nurses, and prescribers to resolve issues quickly</li><li>Deliver excellent service while protecting patient safety and compliance</li></ul><p>What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)</p><ul><li>You take ownership of daily queues and establish consistent <strong>workflow control</strong></li><li>Team roles are clear;
