Core Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform hazardous material surveys, asbestos-containing materials surveys, industrial hygiene testing services, mold and moisture testing services, air monitoring services for asbestos, and radon testing services. </li><li>Perform microscopic analysis for asbestos per Phase Contract Microscopy (PCM) analysis</li><li>Coordinating with gas utility contractors and abatement contractors, maintaining client schedules, and supervising contractors during abatement activities.</li><li>Collection of bulk and air samples for asbestos analysis, mold samples, radon samples, dust samples, and/or other industrial hygiene testing services.</li><li>NIOSH 582 certified analysist for PCM analysis in the field and office, data input, and report writing.</li></ul>You’ll thrive here if you have<ul><li>Bachelors of Science (Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, etc.)</li><li>Associates of Science acceptable with 1 year of experience</li><li>Valid driver's license and good driving record</li><li>Willing and active company Health & Safety participant </li><li>Be on time to work and available to work non-standard shifts, including nights and weekends with prior notice</li><li>Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PDF editing software</li><li>The following technical skill are preferred and considered a plus. However, Atlas will provide technical training as needed: <ul><li>OEPA Certified Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist License</li><li>ODH Certified Lead Risk Assessor License</li><li>OSHA Certified 40-hour HAZWOPER</li><li>LBP inspector/monitor certifications </li><li>NIOSH 582 course completion </li></ul></li><li>Technical report writing, air sampling techniques, asbestos bulk sampling, lead chip and XRF sampling, fungal swabs, and air sampling</li><li>Loading and unloading equipment, tools, and ladders</li><li>Ability to lift up to 20-25 pounds</li><li>Ability to carry field equipment for an extended period of a work shift</li><li>Ability to safely climb ladders, including roof surveys</li><li>Ability to don personal fall arrest safety systems and harnesses</li><li>Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying field equipment</li><li>Ability to withstand temperature extremes while properly wearing PPE</li><li>Physical job locations may be located in dusty/moldy/hazardous/unclean/unsanitary environments (with proper PPE)</li><li>Ability to wear a respirator properly for an extended period of a work shift</li><li>Bending, being on knees, stooping</li><li>Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces</li><li>Potential to work mid or nightshifts when working on a job specific project</li><li>Work Shifts may extend 8 to 12 hours.</li></ul>What you can expect from us The A-Team Experience is our employee program focused on helping our people thrive professionally, personally and as part of a community.
