Working across e2open TMF and Descartes Aljex, the Inbound Specialist picks up shipments handed off by the Outbound Specialist, maintains in-transit visibility and delivery ETAs, pre-alerts the receiving warehouse, secures and audits the signed proof of delivery, and posts delivery milestones and documentation in both systems. The role closes the file: reconciling revenue and cost once final carrier charges are confirmed, pre-alerting the billing team when the file is ready to bill, and locking the job so nothing downstream is billed against incomplete data.
