VA Central Iowa Health Care System is a multi-campus health care system, with approximately 1700 employees, providing primary care, acute medicine, surgery, behavioral health, nursing home and domiciliary care located on the main campus in Des Moines Iowa, as well as a staffed Community Based Outreach Clinics in Carroll, Fort Dodge, Knoxville, Mason City, and South Des Moines.
