Position Responsibilities: • Install, service, maintain, upgrade, and modify electrical and electronic systems • Utilize technical knowledge, existing procedures or develop new procedures along with internal/external resources to diagnose and correct equipment and/or system malfunctions • Modify, test, calibrate, and document system configurations to meet compliance requirements • Utilize various types of computing systems or electronic/electrical test equipment to test accuracy of electronic/electrical components/systems to determine accuracy of equipment • Work with management, engineering, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and other organizations • Service Technicians respond to calls from Central Monitoring Station • Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems • Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on electronic security alarm systems, card access systems, and other related building system products at customer sites • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, and modification notices • Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers equipment such as DMP, LENEL, INOVONICS, etc. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience in support of electrical power systems (electrical system design, electrical system verification, troubleshooting and/or support of anomaly resolution) Experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures Ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds; push/pull using up to 45 pounds of force; and reach overhead up to six hours per day Current valid driver's license Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if required Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time.
