Skills & Qualifications Required Active welder certifications (GMAW, GTAW, SWAW, FCAW) 3+ years pipe welding experience in an industrial manufacturing facility Experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel pipe from 1" schedule 5 to 12" schedule 40 pipe Ability to distinguish between titanium, Hastelloy, stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum Knowledge of welding repair techniques Ability to weld on aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel Ability to set up, adjust, and operate welders, drill press, band saw, oxy-acetylene torch, plasma cutters, etc. Responsibilities The Pipe Welder will be reportable to the Metal Services Supervisor and have responsibilities for the following tasks: Performs welds on various types of materials to include titanium, Hastelloy, stainless, and carbon Performs various piping functions to include shop fabrication, field demo and install, field runs and repairs, and screw pipe install and repair Sets up and operates welders, drill press, band saw, oxy-acetylene torch, plasma cutters, etc.
