Prior to welding layout, position, align, and secure parts as individual structural components and complete assemblies; if working with sheet metal will be required to use straight edges, calipers, combinations squares, framing squares, and rulers. Set up and operate fabrication machines, such as saws, rolls, shears, flame cutters, iron workers, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drills; form and assemble metal components.
