Welding FabricatorPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Welding Fabricator to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for interpreting blueprints, fabricating heavy industrial weldments, and performing high-quality welding and metal fabrication work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Interpret and fabricate heavy industrial weldments from blueprints and technical drawings </li><li>Read and apply bills of materials, work orders, and workflow routings </li><li>Set up and fabricate weldments using modern fixturing and layout tables </li><li>Perform fabrication work based on verbal and written instructions </li><li>Complete and maintain required production and work documentation </li><li>Follow OSHA lifting guidelines and all workplace safety standards </li><li>Perform welding operations using: <ul><li>SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) </li><li>FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) </li><li>GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) </li><li>GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) </li></ul></li><li>Conduct material removal, cutting, and heating operations using oxy-fuel torches and carbon arc gouging </li><li>Operate hand drills, hydraulic punches, shears, and other fabrication equipment </li><li>Use overhead cranes, jib cranes, and material handling equipment to move heavy weldments </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area </li><li>Accurately record daily work activities in the company’s computer system </li><li>Support additional production activities as directed by leadership </li><li>Work overtime as needed to meet production demands </li></ul>Qualifications & Experience<ul><li>High School Diploma, GED, or technical/trade school certification required </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of fabrication experience required </li><li>Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills </li><li>Ability to pass welding and blueprint reading assessments </li><li>Experience working with heavy industrial weldments preferred </li><li>Ability to safely lift and handle heavy materials in accordance with OSHA guidelines </li></ul>Required Tools & EquipmentEmployees are required to provide and maintain:<ul><li>Personal hand tools </li><li>Steel-toed footwear </li><li>Prescription safety glasses (if applicable) </li></ul>Professional ExpectationsSuccessful candidates will demonstrate:<ul><li>Strong initiative and work ethic </li><li>Dependability and consistent attendance </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Desire to learn and grow professionally </li><li>Honesty, integrity, and professionalism </li><li>Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards </li></ul>Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment and may require overtime, standing for extended periods, and working around large fabrication equipment and machinery.

The candidate need to have experience in MIG and TIG with strong Aluminum welding expertise. The candidate will need to be skilled in interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, and ensuring high-quality weld that meet industry and company standards.
