Adheres to all safety rules and uses proper personal protective equipment • Organize and maintain work area to achieve safe, clean and efficient operations • Working knowledge of welding, fixturing, weld wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, stainless and carbon • Review schedule, prioritize daily work, review specifications and blueprints to determine equipment, material and tool requirements • Detects fault operation of equipment or defective materials or parts and notifies Lead/Supervisor • Must have sufficient visual acuity to operate machines and visually inspect parts produced • Able to regularly life and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Welds components in flat, vertical and overhead positions • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
