Summary: Health educators will be responsible for reviewing participants' biometric screening results (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, glucose, blood pressure, and body composition), as well as providing general information about health and nutrition during an optional 5 to 10 minute one-on-one. Duties/Responsibilities: • Review and explain participants' screening results (height, weight, BMI, body fat percentage, waist measurement, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose).
p>Qualifications Qualified candidates are required to be: • Board certified in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics • Have clinical experience in weight management (primary care or relevant subspecialties such as Endocrinology, Cardiology, or Gastroenterology) • Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine with specialization in pediatrics • Valid licenses for State of Illinois • Board certification or board eligibility required • Excellent written and oral communication skill • Passion for pediatric care. In addition, the candidate will be required to obtain medical staff membership and privileges at Lurie Children's and any other required health care institution, complete credentialing by managed care organizations and complete certain Human Resources employment processes, including providing proof of ability to lawfully work in the United States, a pre-employment background check, employee health screening, and receipt of satisfactory professional references if requested.
ul>Directly oversee the delivery of care to Assisted Living residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities. Provide, plan, schedule, and monitor staff training programs and in-services for the Assisted Living staff including statutory or regulatory required training.
li>Lead Adoption and Integration of Membership Leading Practices: Engages the YMCA network to promote systemwide adoption of Y-USA Membership tools, products, and solutions; identifies bright spots; and provides programmatic support to Network Partners. Unify and Align Network Strategies: Leads efforts to build shared goals, strengthen alignment, and enhance the credibility of Y-USA strategies across local Ys, alliances, and service delivery partners to ensure coordinated and consistent impact.
