Services offered at NYAP's Reception Center will include: Behavioral Stabilization Support, including crisis de-escalation and short-term evidence-based clinical services; Comprehensive Assessment that is strengths-based and person-directed; Intensive and Creative Placement and Permanency Planning based on assessment results and the tenets of the Casey Family Programs Permanency Roundtable Model; Group Treatment, Support Groups, and Structured Activities; and. The RN also completes nursing assessments, monitors and responds to medical concerns, coordinates with DCFS, caregivers, and healthcare providers as needed, and documents care and communicates relevant information to the Center team.
