Demonstrates healthcare informatics competency to manage patient care, outcome data, and current and emerging healthcare technology, which include: Basic computer competency, including the effective use of patient care devices, computers, computer software programs such as e-mail and word processing programs, and shared network file space. The SWAT nurse is a highly skilled, highly trained experienced nurse who provides support to various Nursing Units, including but not limited to ICU, Medical, Surgical, and at least 1 specialty area as defined in Supplemental Staffing Nursing Policy.
