This role manages case deadlines and document-intensive discovery, coordinates with insurance carriers, brokers, adjusters, and external counsel, maintains entity records and compliance, and serves as gatekeeper to counsel to ensure matters are resolved efficiently and escalated appropriately. The Junior Paralegal reports directly to Shield’s General Counsel and supports the Office of General Counsel on litigation and arbitration matters pending in multiple state and federal jurisdictions, the insurance aspects of claims and litigation, and the management of Shield’s multi-state entity portfolio.
