General faculty responsibilities in the department include the following: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses face-to-face, hybrid or online; Advise students; Maintain active program of research/scholarly activity and publications in area of specialization; Provide service to the department, college, university, public schools, and professional community; Maintain an on-campus presence through participation in classes, meetings, and events; and. The faculty member is expected to teach specified courses, prepare course materials, provide support and guidance to students through advising, foster professional relationships with public school partners, maintain records pertinent to accreditation, and participate in collaborative meetings with faculty and leadership relative to programmatic decisions and improvements.
