You'll walk the floor, set up workstations, troubleshoot hardware in person, deploy conference room systems, and make sure every office feels well-supported. Our MSP handles remote support, ticketing, and Level 1 — your value is being present, approachable, and hands-on. Reports to the Operations Manager. Co-managed IT environment supporting 200+ staff across Visalia, Clovis, San Luis Obispo, Tulare, Hanford, and Denver, CO.Key ResponsibilitiesIncludes, but not limited to:<ul><li>In-Person Staff Support</li><li><ul><li>Primary onsite IT resource across Central California offices — troubleshoot, deploy, and configure hardware in person (desktops, laptops, monitors, docks, printers, peripherals, conference room/A/V)</li><li>Workstation deployments, replacements, and desk setups (including hotel desks)</li><li>Deliver a great first-day experience for new hires with equipment ready</li></ul></li><li>MSP & Vendor Management</li><li><ul><li>Own the MSP relationship — set expectations; they execute remote support</li><li>Primary contact for key software vendor account managers — track contracts, licensing, seat counts, and coordinate renewals</li></ul></li><li>Procurement & Asset Management</li><li><ul><li>Manage IT equipment inventory, purchasing, and supplies — keep asset tracking current and upload expense receipts</li></ul></li><li>Enterprise Software & Training</li><li><ul><li>Application champion for enterprise tools (M365, intranet, cloud storage, collaboration software) — run training and serve as the go-to for software questions</li></ul></li><li>Infrastructure, Security & Projects</li><li><ul><li>Lead major IT projects with the MSP — software rollouts, server purchases, new office setups, security upgrades</li><li>Maintain network infrastructure and manage security/accounts (Entra ID, M365, Active Directory)</li><li>o Identify cross-team improvements (ticketing, software use, onboarding)</li></ul></li><li>Documentation & Reporting</li><li><ul><li>Document systems, processes, and resolutions; provide weekly updates to People Operations</li></ul></li><li>Additional</li><li><ul><li>Occasional after-hours support and project work; no direct reports — you coordinate the MSP, not run their help desk</li></ul></li></ul>What We're Looking ForNo degree or year requirements. OverviewWe have multiple opportunities for NavMPS CSR -Shiprider positions: The NavMPS CSR -Shiprider will deploy on board us Naval vessels for extended periods of time, to include applicable work-up cycle and deployment underway periods. Travel to support other Naval Air Stations and Marine Corps Air Stations in both CONUS and OCONUS is also required for these positions.
