Functions independently across the core and advanced responsibilities of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including cardiovascular imaging support, hemodynamic monitoring, procedural documentation, equipment and supply management, sterile technique, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary intervention, and advanced cardiovascular procedures within demonstrated areas of competency. Working within a high-acuity regional referral and academic medical center, the CVIT III plays an integral role in the care of patients undergoing complex coronary intervention, acute STEMI treatment, structural heart procedures, mechanical circulatory support, and other advanced cardiovascular therapies.
