IR Technologist - General Surgery MUSCIR Technologist - General SurgeryColumbia, South CarolinaThe responsibilities will include, but not limited to, maintaining and operating the specialized vascular C-arm equipment to capture the correct area and produce clear images, applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices, maintaining regulatory required documentation during/after the procedure, and helping to prepare and position the patient for procedures. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
