We've got jobs for superheroes

X-ray vision, invisibility and ability to fly not necessarily required.

These days, it’s tough out there for a superhero. There’s so much competition for the title of “savior of the world” that our favorite champions have decided to take out one another instead of their enemies.

Just look at the crew from Marvel: You’ve got Captain America duking it out with Iron Man on the big screen in Captain America: Civil War. And recently, on the DC Comics side, Batman and Superman got into a two-and-a-half hour donnybrook in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Then there's the X-Men—they're constantly in-fighting. Deadpool annoys most everyone around him, friend or foe. And you've got to steer clear of Bruce Banner when he’s had a bad day, which is most days according to films featuring The Incredible Hulk.

Superheroes, relax. Monster has jobs for all of you. In fact, Monster has hundreds of jobs that include the term "superhero" somewhere in the job description.

You could ply your superpowers as a Security Officer for Securitas in Edmonds, Washington, where you’d join an “elite team of Flex Officers, ready and willing to save the day.” (The job requires some night shifts, but you’re used to that.)

Or you could get a job as a UX designer with Jenzabar in Harrisonburg, Virginia, which is looking for a hero who “swoops in, molds business requirements, use cases, and user needs and stories with experience in user-centered design methodologies and technology to create a design that is exactly what the client needs and wants, exactly when they need it.”

Alternately, your X-ray vision may come in handy as an ophthalmology office manager at private practice imatters in Chicago, which offers “support and continuing education for you to become a superhero in our eyes,” according to the job description. No prob; you've got that one on a lock already.

So check out the awesome jobs we've got for superheroes—and regular folks—then follow the tips outlined below to prepare for your next mission.
