Want to increase your odds of finding a job? Who doesn't? 

Location is key. Massachusetts, Delaware and Washington provide college grads with the best chance of getting hired, according to a report by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. Using online job ads, the report ranks states by the number of job openings per college-educated worker overall and within industries and career fields. 

College grads looking for work in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers have the best odds of finding a job in Delaware, Massachusetts and New York. Across the country, college-educated workers will have the best odds of finding a job in STEM, managerial and professional offices and healthcare professional and technical occupations.

Here are the top 10 states with the best job markets for college graduates and who's hiring in each. 

1. Massachusetts

2. Delaware 

Number of online job ads seeking college grads: 50 percent

3. Washington 

Number of online job ads seeking college grads: 47 percent

Top Jobs: software developers, nurses, computer occupations

4. Colorado 

Number of online job ads seeking college grads: 46 percent

Top Jobs: nurses, software developers, computer occupations

5. Alaska 

Number of online job ads seeking college grads: 37 percent
