Job Title: .NET Developer (Backend)

Duration: 6 Months to 1 Year (Contract Position)

Location: Berwyn, PA  (onsite 3-4 days per/week)

Our client, a leading innovator in financial technology, dedicated in creating cutting-edge solutions to their top-tier financial services clients are currently seeking a talented and experienced Backend .NET Developer to join their dynamic team for a period of 6 months to 1 year with the potential to convert to a full-time regular role.

Job Summary:

As a .NET Developer you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend systems of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled developer to contribute to exciting projects within a contract capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using the .NET framework.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, software architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Optimize and improve existing code and system performance.
• Work with databases and data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage applications in a production environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend .NET Developer or similar role, with a track record of successful project deliveries.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and related technologies.
• Experience with database design and development using SQL Server or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with web services and API development (REST, SOAP).
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are a plus.

Contract Details:

• This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months to 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance as well as potential to convert into a full-time regular employee with our client
