Staff Accountant – Cryptocurrency Startup

100% remote – team is based in Chicago, and gets together occasionally, but in person is not required

Summary

We are a profitable, and rapidly growing, cryptocurrency startup that is growing our team. The Staff Accountant performs standard accounting duties within our NetSuite environment. You'll have an opportunity to handle a wide variety of accounting responsibilities, including but not limited to, what is detailed below. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about cryptocurrency, and are eager to learn and grow with a rapidly growing cryptocurrency focused startup. NetSuite experience is required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Daily use of NetSuite Accounting Software
• Account reconciliations
• ARs and Client
• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare financial statements
• Process expense reports for payment
• Record vendor payments
• Sales Tax Reporting
• Monthly closing processes
• Ad hoc requests
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

Skills We're Seeking

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience with NetSuite Accounting
• 1-5 years of experience as an accountant
• Passion for cryptocurrency (experience not required)
