    Position Type: Part-Time to potential Full-Time

    Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic organization and contributes to the financial health of the company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain general ledger entries by recording daily financial transactions and reconciling accounts.

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

    • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

    • Support account payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.

    • Prepare and file sales tax returns and assist with audits.

    • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

    • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

    • Provide support for special projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    • 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred, preferably in a corporate environment.

    • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

    • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficient in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
