26-27 Financial Stability Events Coordinator VISTA-DC

The goal of this VISTA project is to build FSN's ability to help low- and moderate- income people reach and sustain financial stability by providing free financial training, mentoring, and income tax return preparation. The VISTA will provide communications and logistical support to in-person and virtual FSN events where volunteers engage in "hands-on" activities (e.g., tax preparation clinics and financial education classes). The VISTA will also engage with clients, volunteers, supporters, and partner organizations to identify and implement improvements to FSN's processes and information management. That engagement will include debriefs on FSN events; surveys and focus groups, and outreach to peer organizations (including those in CC-DC) to identify best practices. The VISTA will use the information gained in these engagement activities to document and communicate improvements to processes, thereby increasing FSN"s capacity to serve its clients.
