Role Overview
In this role, you will own the full sales cycle—from outbound prospecting to close—at high velocity. You will apply a consultative, solution-based approach to convert inbound leads and self-generated pipeline, targeting general contractors, project managers, and CFOs who can benefit from Speedchain’s commercial card and expense management platform. Success in this role requires equal parts financial sophistication and field-level grit. You will be expected to close 10–15 deals per month while building lasting customer relationships and contributing to the growth of the sales organization.
What You Will Own
Build and execute a territory strategy to consistently close ~10+ deals per month.
Generate net new monthly credit origination across your portfolio of new accounts.
Qualify and follow up with prospects from both inbound marketing leads and self-generated outbound pipeline.
Conduct demonstrations and financial discovery calls with CFOs and Project Managers to identify margin erosion and process gaps.
Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce; provide forecasts and pipeline updates to sales leadership.
Pursue competitor knowledge to ensure Speedchain’s value proposition is clearly communicated and defensible.
Build repeat business, referrals, and references by deeply understanding each customer’s requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Finance teams to share market feedback and improve the sales process.
Support the growth of the sales team by identifying process improvements and providing mentorship as the organization scales.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
Minimum 2 years as a full-cycle, quota-carrying Account Executive in B2B SaaS or fintech, and 4+ years of experience in business development or sales.
Demonstrated ability to close high-volume transactions (10+ deals monthly) with short sales cycles.
Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
Proven ability to build and manage pipeline, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and communicate clearly.
Proficiency with AI-powered workflows, CRM and modern sales tech stacks (Apollo, Unify, or similar)
Background in commercial construction (project management, accounting, or industry software); financial services or fintech (commercial lending, AR/AP automation, capital markets); or construction tech is a plus but not required.

Financial acumen sufficient to lead sophisticated conversations with CFOs around credit lines and WIP reporting.
Hunter mentality: comfortable with cold outbound, field engagement, trade association events, and conferences.

Location & Compensation
Role based in Atlanta, GA (West Midtown headquarters).
In-office presence when not in the field; 25–35% travel for field engagement, conferences, and customer meetings.
Compensation range, $100,000 - $125,000 and $200,000 - $250,000 OTE based on commission structure (uncapped) driven by deal volume and credit origination value.
Consecutive quarterly performance bonus for sustained attainment.
