Account Service Manager

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health and operational success of our Rental Equipment Division. As the Accounts Services Manager, you will serve as a trusted partner to our operations, equipment management, project teams, vendors, and customers, overseeing all day-to-day financial activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, invoicing, payment processing, collections, account reconciliations, and customer account management. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure financial transactions are processed timely and in compliance with company policies and accounting standards, while your ability to build strong relationships and identify process improvements will support efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and contribute meaningfully to the overall success of the team and the customers we serve.

YOU COULD BE THE NEXT CHOATE ACCOUNT SERVICE MANAGER IF…

• You successfully managed the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations for rental equipment and related services.
• You proactively monitored aging reports and resolved outstanding balances by working directly with customers, investigating discrepancies, and escalating collection matters in accordance with company procedures.
• You partnered with internal stakeholders and the insurance compliance team to collect and maintain required rental insurance documentation, helping minimize risk and support customer account compliance.
• You effectively oversaw the accounts payable process, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper coding while ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
• You maintained financial integrity by reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring expenses were accurately allocated to the appropriate equipment, projects, departments, cost centers, and general ledger accounts.
• You prepared and analyzed key financial reports, including AR/AP aging schedules, rental activity reports, and project closeout documentation, while collaborating closely with Accounting and Finance to support accurate reporting.
• You served as a trusted resource for customers, vendors, business development managers, and operations teams by managing rental orders, answering billing and payment inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the rental process.
