You'll play a critical role in integrating acquired companies, improving automation, and driving operational excellence across the accounting function.Location preferences: Austin, TX; Boston, MA; or Philadelphia, PA.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the end‑to‑end monthly close processOversee general ledger, revenue recognition, AR, and APEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAPHelp integrate newly acquired companies into our financial systems and processesStandardize accounting workflows across entities as we scaleIdentify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve the close processDrive improvements in ERP systems and accounting infrastructure (NetSuite)Partner with finance leadership on financial analysis, reporting, and strategic initiativesSupport audit processes and internal controlsLead and mentor accounting team members and coordinate with external partnersRequirements5+ years of accounting experience with 2 years of team leadershipExperience in a SaaS company (subscription revenue preferred)Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAPExperience managing the full monthly close cycleHands‑on experience with NetSuite or similar ERPAdvanced Excel and analytical skillsA systems thinker who enjoys improving processes and building scalable operationsSomeone who thrives in a high‑growth, fast‑moving environmentPreferredCPA certificationExperience with M&A integration or acquired company accountingExperience in private equity‑backed or high‑growth SaaS companiesBackground in automation or AI‑enabled finance toolsPrior experience in public accounting (Big Four or similar)The salary for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per year.
