Audit and assurance services are provided by Elliott Davis, LLC (doing business in NC and D.C. as Elliott Davis, PLLC), a licensed CPA firm.Position OverviewThe Accounting Manager – Internal Accounting oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the company's core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Billing. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and compliant processing across all internal accounting workflows while leading a team responsible for the company's financial operations.ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations of AP, AR, Payroll, and Billing teamsMonitor compliance with purchasing and expense policiesSupport tax filings and regulatory reporting as neededEnsure proper cut‑off, classification, and approval workflowsMaintain fixed assets subledger – track capital assets, depreciation and disposals and ensure proper recordingOversee month‑end close activities related to internal accounting functionsPrepare and review account reconciliations and supporting schedulesMonitor and improve internal processes to increase efficiency and accuracyMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policiesPlay a key role integrating growth opportunities into the organization's internal accounting processes.
