Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for an established manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the close process, financial reporting, planning, manufacturing accounting, and development of the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting team

• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close

• Prepare and review financial statements, reporting, and variance analysis

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning

• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, overhead, and operational variances

• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP

• Coordinate internal and external audit requests

• Partner with operational and business leaders to provide financial insights

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Prior experience leading and developing accounting professionals

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills

• Manufacturing, cost accounting, or inventory experience preferred

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and audits is a plus

• Collaborative leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
