Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Hourly rate: $23-$26/hr (DOE)

Location: Hybrid (8am-5pm EST) (Ashburn, VA)

We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join us as an Accounts Payable Specialist on our Accounting Shared Services team, to support our daily financial operations across our regions in the Atlantic North and South!

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing payments accurately and on schedule for assigned vendor accounts
• Managing vendor account relationships and responding to payment inquiries
• Reconciling monthly vendor statements and researching discrepancies
• Assisting with monthly Accounts Payable close and reconciliations
• Ensuring invoices, credits, and payments are recorded accurately
• Collaborating with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues

 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role
• Strong mathematical and bookkeeping skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Strong problem-solving and organization skills
• Previous experience in customer service and office administration is a plus
• Dependable and punctual
• Team player with excellent communication skills

 

Compensation:

• Paid hourly/biweekly

Office Hours:

• Monday through Friday – 8 AM until 5 PM

Shift:

• Full-time

Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $26.00/Hr. Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $23.00/Hr.
