Job Description:

POSITION GOAL

To ensure that proper accounting procedures are followed in a responsible and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Associates degree in business or related field. AND
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an accounting environment. OR
• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program Education. AND
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an accounting environment.
• A working knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to analyze data and make rational decisions based on facts.
• Ability to prepare and complete accurate accounting reports and statements of considerable complexity; to keep complex records and to prepare reports from such records.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
