Role: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Smyrna, GA

Position Type: Contract

Pay: $30 - $35 / Hour

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Preferred):

• Proficiency in Workday and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and analyze data.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, staff, and management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Experience in a supervisory role with a proven track record of managing a team.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management.
• Knowledge of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Ability to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
