About the Accounts Payable Specialist Role

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be an important member of the accounting team, helping ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities

• 
  
• Enter and process up to 70 vendor invoices daily
• 
  
• The AP Specialist will manage accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors
• 
  
• Maintain and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports
• 
  
• Investigate and resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies
• 
  
• The AP Specialist will assist with ensuring invoices are properly matched and approved
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications of Accounts Payable Specialist Role

• 
  
• Prior accounts payable experience
• 
  
• Prior experience with QuickBooks
• 
  
• Familiarity with three-way matching processes
• 
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• 
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
