About the Role:A construction and building materials supplier is hiring an Accounts Receivable Assistant to own collections and AR follow-up end to end. The role calls contractors, property managers, and electricians directly to chase down payment, so it demands someone polished on the phone who can represent the company well while getting invoices closed out. This is a full-time, in-office position built for someone who can stay on top of an aging report without letting anything slip.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Follow-Up

• Call and email general contractors, property managers, and electricians to collect on past-due invoices
• Send account statements and track outstanding balances
• Follow up persistently and professionally without damaging client relationships

Account Management

• Log all collection calls and correspondence
• Keep QuickBooks and the AR aging report clean and current

Qualifications

• AR/collections experience required
• Professional, well-spoken, strong phone presence
• Organized and persistent, comfortable following up repeatedly while staying polite
• QuickBooks and Excel experience a plus
• Construction or building materials industry experience a plus
