The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships provides operational, programmatic, and administrative leadership for UCLA TFT's portfolio of external institutional partnerships, in service of goals and vision established by TFT senior leadership. The role carries primary responsibility for the multi-year collaboration with Sundance Institute, with the scope and structure designed to support additional strategic partnerships as the portfolio grows. Reporting to the Senior Director, Events and Strategic Initiatives, the Senior Manager serves as the principal operational point of contact responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all aspects of active partnerships. The Senior Manager works collaboratively with UCLA faculty, staff, administrators, students, and external partner organizations to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives, including — in the current Sundance Institute collaboration — the Digital Learning Hub, Bridge Intensive, Summer Summit, Co-Developed Certificate Program, and future collaborative initiatives. Core areas of responsibility include project management, financial administration, fundraising coordination, communications, governance support, assessment, and reporting, with sustained attention to alignment with the strategic goals of both UCLA TFT and its partners.

Salary & Compensation: *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.   • 3-5 years Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder partnership initiatives, programs, or projects with accountability for timelines, budgets, and deliverables. (Required)
  • Experience in higher education, arts administration, entertainment, nonprofit organizations, or creative industries. (Required)
  • Strong project management, organizational, and operational execution skills, including use of project management tools and frameworks. (Required)
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and cross-functional teams. (Required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive-level reports and presentations. (Required)
  • Experience supporting fundraising, donor relations, grants, or external partnerships. (Required)
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives, faculty, students, donors, and external partners. (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment, diplomacy, and discretion. (Required)
  • Experience in film, media, arts, or a related field, with demonstrated engagement in film education, production, or arts programming. (Required)
  • Experience developing, coordinating, and evaluating academic, artistic, or public programming, including planning, implementation, and assessment. (Required)
  • Demonstrated financial management and fiscal stewardship experience, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and support for philanthropic initiatives. (Required)
  • Education, Licenses, Certifications, & Professional Affiliations:
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. (Required)
  • Master's Degree Master's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training or (Preferred)
