Our client, a well-established and professional organization, is seeking a polished and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join their team in Columbus, OH. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers while supporting day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a business-focused office environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary front desk representative, greeting visitors and creating a welcoming, professional experience.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls while handling inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
Provide administrative support including data entry, document preparation, filing, and office correspondence.
Assist with customer service inquiries and help ensure concerns are routed appropriately.
Prepare reports and administrative summaries for management as needed.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office communications.
Maintain conference rooms, common areas, and reception spaces to ensure a professional appearance.
Monitor and restock break room, office, and reception area supplies.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy office setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
Comfortable working onsite in a business-professional environment.
