Executive Administrative Assistant - Contract (2-3 Months)
Fully Onsite - East Orlando
Hourly Rate: $27-30 (depending on experience)
We have an exciting short-term opportunity to join a dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant! In this vital role, youll provide essential support to the Advancement Operations leadership, ensuring seamless office functionality and operational excellence during a transitional period. What You'll Do:
- Serve as the front desk ambassador, greeting visitors, managing packages, issuing visitor badges, and troubleshooting day-to-day office issues
- Manage high-level calendars for senior leadership, coordinating meetings and resolving scheduling conflicts
- Draft, update, and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure smooth administrative workflows
- Act as the main contact for vendor relations, contract management, and supply ordering
- Support employee engagement initiatives and division-wide events, including town halls and staff recognition activities
- Assist with expense reconciliation, travel arrangements, and logistical planning for key meetings and initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in front office or reception roles
- Prior support experience in administration or operations
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with non-profit or educational institutions
- Experience with SOP documentation or office management systems
- Vendor and contract tracking knowledge
- Event planning or meeting facilitation experience
Preferred Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant certifications preferred
- Previous administrative support experience, ideally in a professional or nonprofit setting
