Under the supervision of the Clinical Trials Manager and the Program Directors of the UCLA Neuro-Oncology Program, the Administrative Assistant will represent the program in a professional and respectful manner, assist with administration of various tasks, and carry out assigned duties with punctuality, accuracy and discretion. The candidate will be responsible for answering phones and triaging calls to the appropriate person.
You will also maintain accurate record keeping of patients who have been consented to research studies, perform data entry, and query resolution under guidance and supervision. The administrative assistant will also help schedule appointments. You must be familiar with each clinical research studyxe2x80x99s visit/procedure schedule and will interact with the UCLA Clinical Trials Research Center (CTRC), Radiology, and/or Bowyer Oncology Clinic and also access CareConnect to coordinate these appointments. You will also assist with completing study forms associated with these appointments. Under direction of the Clinical Trials Manager, you will deliver study medications, materials, and/or specimens between the CTRC, campus pharmacies, campus laboratories, and the Clinical Trials office.
