The Administrative Assistant II is responsible for all aspects of scheduling, Front Desk communications, and secretarial assistance to administrative staff. you are responsible for providing and maintaining an organized, smooth functioning and efficient office environment to ensure maximum services. He/she participates in setting, implementing, communicating, and maintaining standards of performance in each area.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Windows-based systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and professional correspondence.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and standard business practices.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and patient privacy in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, new protocols, and departmental needs.
  • Ability to work independently, recognize when guidance is needed, and function within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and distractions.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer systems.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and work flexible schedules as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and perform prolonged sitting, walking, reaching, and other routine physical activities.
